GENEDGE HOSTING FREE INDUSTRY 4.0 EVENT AT CCAM

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DISPUTANTA, Va. – GENEDGE is hosting an Introduction to Industry 4.0 event at the Commonwealth Center for Advanced Manufacturing on March 27.

This free lunch and learn invites small and medium-sized manufacturers to learn about the opportunities and challenges presented by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0, and how they fit into the mix. It will explain what Industry 4.0 is, the Industrial Internet of Things, the Digital Thread, Digital Manufacturing and Design, a Future Factory, and other related terminology. The event will also include a tour of CCAM’s advanced manufacturing research facility.

Following the event, attendees will have the opportunity to sign up for a free, detailed on-site Digital Manufacturing and Design (DM&D) assessment to help better understand where they can lower design costs through better collaboration with suppliers and lower manufacturing cost and capital requirements from better optimization of end-to-end product lifecycles.

“The digitization of Design and Manufacturing processes (DM&D) enables faster and more accurate responses to customer requirements by optimizing interactions up and down your supply chain,” commented Peter Miles, GENEDGE Technology Acceleration Manager. “Combining this with emerging new manufacturing technologies will enable you to effectively out-compete your competition.”

The event is free to attend, but registration is required. To register: https://intro-to-industry-4point0.eventbrite.com
