Martinsville, Va. – Jeanne Grubbs recently accepted the position of Human Resources Manager based at GENEDGE headquarters in Martinsville.
In this trusted internal advisor role, Jeanne will strive to support the development of employees through direct coaching as well as advisory services to the management team. She will also maintain that processes are compliant with Commonwealth of Virginia, federal and local law in addition to managing delivery of required and optional trainings for the business, among other duties. “I am excited about my new role as the HR Manager for GENEDGE,” commented Jeanne. “One of my chief goals as HR Manager will be fostering open communication, which is especially important during unprecedented times such as these.”
Before coming to GENEDGE, Jeanne held various positions within the human resources field including Human Resources Generalist & Security Manager for IKEA Industry Danville and Human Resources Supervisor for JCPenney. Jeanne is also a retired Navy Military Police Officer.
Jeanne is a graduate of Averett University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology/Criminal Justice. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute and is a member of the Southside Virginia affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.
