Dean Young is the Vice President, Business Transformation at GENEDGE. His role includes development of and direction for the GENEDGE Alliance, the Marketing Team, and management of significant statewide and regional growth opportunities for targeted industrial companies and clusters. He has worked with GENEDGE for total of 13 years as a third-party consultant as well as a GENEDGE Engagement Manager providing consulting, program management and service development. Dean holds a BS in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from Virginia Tech. He is certified in the following: NIST MEP LEAN Instructor in Lean Principles, Value Stream Mapping and Lean Supply Chain Logistics, and Balanced Scorecard Practitioner by the Balanced Scorecard Institute. He is a Jonah in the Theory of Constraints, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (certified by Virginia Tech and the ASQ); Master Black Belt and Senior LSS Instructor United States Marine Corps.
