Learn how complex problems may be solved through Batten College for Engineering & Technology’s Senior Design Capstone Program at Old Dominion University!
This informative Open House will include presentations by the ODU Engineering Department’s faculty and staff as well as presentations by Senior Design Capstone teams offering insight into their experiences and projects.
In addition, tours of ODU’s Monarch Lab, Additive Manufacturing & Innovation Lab, and Manufacturing Engineering & Innovation Lab.
A mix and mingle with light refreshments will close the event, allowing attendees to review senior design posters and chat with faculty and students about their projects, interests, and capabilities.
ODU’s Areas of Interest Include:
- Modeling/simulation Engineering
- Data Science Analytics, Concentration in Engineering and Big Data Analysis

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS, PARKING
- For GPS purposes, ODU is located at 5115 Hampton Boulevard, Norfolk
- If coming from the south on Hampton Boulevard (downtown Norfolk), turn left at 43rd Street and proceed 500 yards to the 43rd & Bluetone Garage. An attendant will greet you at the entrance and direct you to free parking
- If coming from the north on Hampton Boulevard (via Terminal Boulevard), turn right at 43rd Street and follow the above directions
DIRECTIONS TO KAUFMAN HALL, REGISTRATION
Exit the garage at the entrance and head north on the walkway into campus. Kaufman Hall will be on your right, approximately 350 yards from the garage. Enter at the main entrance for registration.
