Industry 4.0 Past, Present, and Future: Train the Trainer Workshop

Virginia Tech’s GO Virginia Project is excited to host a free to attend Industry 4.0 focused Train the Trainer workshop at the Botetourt Center at Greenfield on October 16-18, 2024.

The purpose of the three-day workshop is to:

  • Increase understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies used by the Automated-Connected-Electrified (ACE) workforce of our region.
  • Recognize terms, concepts, and examples of LEAN principles.
  • Identify critical skills required to successfully educate adult learners.
  • Develop a tentative training proposal for use at their place of employment.

The workshop will include a tour of a local plant, Eldor Group: USA!

This training is recommended for Human Resources trainers, coordinators, manufacturing engineers, quality and lead operators, operation support specialists and quality control managers.
