*NEW* – GENEDGE Deputy Executive Director
The Deputy Executive Director is a senior leader within GENEDGE, providing operational and strategic support to the Executive Director and assuming increasing responsibility for the organization’s overall leadership. The Deputy Executive Director will lead and mentor key staff, oversee program delivery, drive operational efficiency, cultivate stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the organization’s strategic planning and revenue development efforts.
As a statewide organization, this position does require significant overnight travel throughout Virginia and occasional travel out-of-state. This position would be based from our headquarters office in Martinsville preferably or our Richmond office. This position does require a valid driver’s license and having or the ability to obtain a secret security clearance. APPLY HERE
*NEW* – GENEDGE Welding Training Supervisor
The Welding Training Supervisor – will assist with the set-up and lead the operation of the CoBotic welding training center. The supervisor will support the initial installation, maintain equipment and documentation as needed, and ensure proper use of equipment in the facility. The supervisor will provide input as available to curriculum overview and highlight any manufacturer-specific training requirements. The supervisor will be responsible for leading training lectures and labs, supervision of trainees, supporting and evaluating learning by trainees, and administration of the program at each phase. The supervisor will represent and give feedback for the center at meetings for review and support of the project as needed at regularly scheduled as well as quarterly and annual meetings. APPLY HERE
Business Services Director-Richmond Area
Business Services Director-Richmond Area – The Business Services Director (BSD) provides specialist capabilities for GENEDGE and acts as the knowledge management hub for their assigned areas of responsibility. Their responsibilities include being the face of GENEDGE by providing direct consultation with our clients, being project managers overseeing our third parties as they provide direct services to our Clients, and being responsible for the content of existing and new services. The Business Services Director Team consists of SMEs covering a broad range of business needs. They can work directly with all levels in manufacturing, engineering, and technology companies. The position requires significant overnight travel, typically within Virginia. This position is expected to be located near the I-95 corridor, serving I-95 and I-64 areas.
