Michael Gibson serves as a Business Services Director. In this role he supports local businesses with guidance, support, and training to help them overcome the challenges they face in a competitive global market.
Previous industry roles include COO at DSA (Door Store of America) where he championed many initiatives to reduce lead times, implement 5S, and increase employee retention. Prior to joining DSA, Michael dedicated over a decade to successive leadership advancements at Morris and Associates, culminating in his tenure as Executive General Manager. His foundational career is anchored in critical technical leadership roles, including General Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Associate Design Engineer, and Civil Designer. He has experience with the food, construction, nuclear, and cooling industries.
A champion of continuous professional development, Michael holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a concentration in Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Administration with a concentration in Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. He additionally holds an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Drafting from Genesee Community College and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
