Richmond, Va.—Scott Schein has been hired by GENEDGE as Director–National Network Programs based in the Richmond office, and reports to Bill Donohue, President and Executive Director.
“Scott’s vast experience of 23 years in defense, consulting, aerospace & aviation made him the perfect candidate to lead national network programs. These supply chain development services are delivered through the Manufacturing Extension Partnership National Network™. His appointment places Virginia in a leadership role as the National Network enhances our nation’s manufacturing competitiveness,” explained Bill Donohue, GENEDGE President and Executive Director.
As Director–National Network Programs, Scott will manage larger, complex supply chain engagements and service deliveries with senior leaders in manufacturing, engineering, and technology companies and verticals. He is primarily responsible for identifying, planning, evaluating, and implementing national network opportunities at many levels including GENEDGE, MEPNN, and corporate customer. As a key member of the GENEDGE leadership team, Scott will engage with GENEDGE Board of Trustees, Virginia economic development organizations, and Commonwealth Agency senior leaders as needed.
Prior to joining GENEDGE, Scott was President of United Equipment Corporation, a mid-market aerospace and defense supplier located in Richmond; the Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis at Airbus North America’s military business unit in Herndon; the Director of Aerospace and Defense at Highland Capital Management, an investment management company; and the Director of Business Development for the airframe systems division of Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, Arizona.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an MBA specializing in General Management from Georgetown University.
