Anthony Cerilli

Anthony (Tony) Cerilli is the Interim MEP Center Director at GENEDGE, where he leads Virginia’s Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Center and oversees manufacturing extension services delivered across the Commonwealth. In this role, Tony is focused on helping small and medium-sized manufacturers innovate, compete, and grow through high-impact consulting and technical assistance.

Previously serving as GENEDGE’s Senior Vice President of Client Services, Tony developed and directed a statewide network of practice managers and subject matter experts. He also brings extensive experience from the MEP National Network™, where he served as Director of National Programs, supporting initiatives to strengthen U.S. manufacturing competitiveness.

Tony is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with a deep background in manufacturing and continuous improvement. Before joining GENEDGE, he held leadership roles in engineering, production, and operations within automotive fuel system manufacturing at Continental AG, Siemens VDO, and Caterpillar. He also worked in Instrumentation and Controls in the nuclear power industry with ComEd and served in nuclear propulsion in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.

Tony earned a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and pursued graduate studies toward an MBA at the College of William & Mary’s Mason School of Business. His professional development includes Six Sigma Master Black Belt training and certification through BMGI, Lean Manufacturing coursework at the University of Michigan, and completion of the Commonwealth Management Institute.
