GENEDGE HIRES STEVE HOLCOMB AS HAMPTON ROADS REGIONAL GROWTH MANAGER

Hampton, Va. – Steve Holcomb has accepted the new position of Hampton Roads Regional Growth Manager. In this role, Steve will be responsible for supporting industrial development in the region by building and maintaining relationships with local and regional economic developers, industrial associations, the Port of Virginia, and the local industrial and technology client base. As the Hampton Roads Regional Growth Manager, Steve will develop trusted advisor relationships with prospects and clients, supporting them in pursuit of their strategic goals, and manage projects to their successful completion creating positive impact for the client, the Hampton Roads region, and the Commonwealth.

Steve joined the GENEDGE team in late March and will be located at the GENEDGE Hampton Roads office. “I’m excited to join GENEDGE, and help Hampton Roads companies and industries substantially increase their work velocity, capacity, profitability and success,” commented Steve on his new position.

Steve holds a B.S. in Ocean Engineering with emphasis on deep ocean systems from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and he is a Jonah in the Theory of Constraints Thinking Process. While working at Huntington Ingalls – Newport News Shipbuilding he received two Excellence in Action Awards, one leading a successful project management implementation in submarine construction and the other for being a leader for improved velocity, synchronization and cost in ship construction. Steve was also selected to serve as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner. He has helped dozens of organizations identify and address their greatest challenges resulting in millions of dollars of bottom-line impact.
