Martinsville, Va. — John Hagwood has joined GENEDGE as a Project Manager based in Martinsville. John will support GENEDGE engagements statewide, with a primary focus on clients in southside Virginia including our strategic small business program – Enterprise Development Growth Engine (EDGE).
John brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing mostly from the IBM Corporation. While at IBM’s System and Technology Group, he focused on the design, development, and manufacture of semiconductor chips for a variety of applications. His experience includes market research, business plan development, project management, statistical data analysis, and continuous improvement. Most recently, John worked as a Materials Business Development Manager responsible for developing a supplier and foundry ecosystem for NYS Power Electronics’ Manufacturing consortium.
John earned his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Old Dominion University, and a MBA focused in Strategy and Operations from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
